About Us

Escuela Avancemos Academy is a K-8 Public School Academy located in the heart of Southwest Detroit. We aim to inspire our students to succeed at the highest level by educating with restorative principles, and rigorous academic expectations. We are considered one of Detroit's fastest-growing schools and have been recognized by organizations such as Detroit Children's Fund that have granted us a multi-million dollar grant to build on the instructional capacity of our staff.
