As a K–8 public charter school serving the Southwest Detroit community, Escuela Avancemos Academy is committed to providing a high-quality, student-centered education in a supportive and engaging learning environment. We strive to know our students well, celebrate their unique strengths, and provide the academic, social, and emotional support they need to reach their full potential.

Our school community is built on high expectations, strong relationships, collaboration, and continuous growth. Through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), data-informed instruction, and ongoing professional development, our educators work together to strengthen teaching and learning and ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed.
